Information for Ortho San Antonio Patients Covered by AETNA

We would like to inform our valued patients that even though CHRISTUS may not be in-network with AETNA (effective July 3rd), our providers remain committed to ensuring you receive the care you need. Our healthcare professionals are still available and dedicated to serving you, the patient.

X-rays:

Whenever possible, patients should be encouraged to complete their X-rays prior to their visit. Encouraging patients to complete their X-rays before their scheduled visit is a proactive approach that can streamline the healthcare process. If X-rays cannot be obtained before the visit, they can be taken after the visit if necessary.

Injections:

All injections should be scheduled and performed in the injection clinic to streamline the process and ensure appropriate care.

Out-of-Network (OON) Benefits:

Patients still have the option to use their Out-Of-Network benefits and be seen in our clinic. For more information about your visit's costs, please call before your scheduled appointment.

If you have any questions or require further clarification, please feel free to reach out to us. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
