There is great deals of interest in injury prevention among athletes at all levels. Unfortunately there are some injuries that aren't preventable.

Every athlete run the risk of getting injured when they step onto the field or court. Despite the fact that not all injuries can be prevented. many can.

Some injuries that are preventable include: muscle strains, bumps, and bruises.
The last thing any athlete wants is to be injured because it will mean they will have to sit out of their sport. Things such as warm-ups, stetching, weight training, and rest are all great ways to reduce the risk of injury. The most important thing to listen to your body. You are your body's best advocate . There is no one else who knows how you feel better than you do.
Dr. Murray specializes in surgery of athletic injuries of the upper and lower extremity. He performs hundreds of routine arthroscopic procedures annually, including meniscus surgery, ACL reconstructions, labral repairs, rotator cuff repairs, and hip labral repairs.
